General Daily Care
The Golden Rule: Last On, First Off.
To protect the lustre of your jewellery, put your pieces on last - after you've applied lotions, perfumes, and hairspray. Chemicals in beauty products can react with metals and plating, dulling them gradually over time.
When you're done for the day, take your jewellery off first before your evening routine. Simple habit, significant difference.
Our materials
Our jewellery is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, chosen specifically for its strength, durability, and suitability for everyday wear.
Many designs are finished with PVD gold coating for a rich, long-lasting gold look, while others maintain a high silver polish.
Can I wear Falienne jewellery every day?
Falienne pieces are designed to fit into everyday life - not sit untouched in a jewellery box. With sensible care, many customers comfortably wear their jewellery day to day.
Honest answer (the one I'd give a friend over coffee):
You absolutely can:
- Wear it daily, properly daily
- Keep it on while washing your hands
- Wear it to the gym (sweat and all)
- Wear it in summer heat
- Take it on beach holidays (just rinse gently after saltwater)
What I don't recommend:
Showering regularly with your jewellery on. Not because it'll instantly destroy anything, it won't, but because soaps, shampoos, and persistently hot water aren't doing your pieces any favours over time.
Could you get away with it occasionally? Probably. Should it become a daily habit? I really wouldn't. As with all jewellery, regular exposure to soaps, chemicals, and friction can gradually affect the finish over time.
I'd rather be completely transparent about that than oversell you something that disappoints six months down the line.
How do I clean it?
If your piece needs a refresh, simply rinse with warm water and mild soap.
Dry thoroughly using a soft cloth afterwards. That's genuinely it.
How to Store Your Jewellery
A little home for your treasures.
When you're not wearing your pieces, the best place for them is in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight.
We recommend storing pieces individually, either in a box or soft pouch, to prevent them from scratching against each other and to minimise any tarnishing over time.
Humidity isn't ideal for any jewellery, so a proper storage spot makes a real difference.
Jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed, and natural changes can occur over time. Thoughtful care helps extend the life and appearance of your pieces, but no jewellery remains completely unchanged forever.
